JobPhantom is a Chrome browser extension that reads job listings from job boards and company careers pages. It uses your saved profile and work history to generate tailored resumes and cover letters via the jobphantom.io API.

This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

Personal information. When you create a profile, you provide your name, email address, and work history. This information is stored on jobphantom.io servers and used solely to generate tailored resume and cover letter documents.

Authentication information. We collect login credentials used to sign in to jobphantom.io. Authentication is handled via secure session cookies.

Job listing content. When you trigger document generation, the extension reads the active browser tab to extract the job title, description, and requirements. This content is sent to the jobphantom.io API for processing and is not stored permanently.

Your profile data is used solely to generate tailored resume and cover letter documents on your behalf.

Job listing content is sent to our API for AI processing only. It is not stored permanently after generation is complete.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties.

We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's core function of generating job application documents.

We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Your profile information and generated documents are stored securely on jobphantom.io servers. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access.

JobPhantom does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. No user data is shared with or sold to advertisers or data brokers.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting our support team or through the account settings page. Upon request, we will permanently delete your profile, work history, and any stored generated documents.
